Some info about me.
Andreas Sicklinger studied architecture at
the Technical University in Munich and worked in Italy for 20 years in the field of Product Design and Applied Ergonomics for Design. He taught in
different Design Schools in Italy, such as Polytechnic University of
Turin, University of Ferrara and IED Milan. He published several books and
articles about Design.
Since 2012 he is Head of the Product Design
Department at the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Arts at the German University
in Cairo/Egypt. Throughout his career he has cooperated with many different entities, institutions and companies as well as designer and University Teacher.
His research interests go from Applied Ergonomics for Design to Design Education, as well as from Craft and Tradition to Additive Manufacturing.
